Cleaning Your Airbrush
The airbrush needs to be kept clean
in order for it to remain working at top efficiently. Here is how to keep it clean and working properly
These squirt bottles can by bought in hair salons.
These are great for spraying
out your airbrush
Don't forget to place the head guard on the airbrush. Always keep the guard on when not using the airbrush.
For cleaning between  dark to light colors we spray into the syphon ,with the airbrush hooked to an air source,we push down on the trigger  for air, while squirting water  into and though the syphon tube
To  completely clean the airbrush pull the needle out about an inch,  or remove entirely.
If you remove needle, keep finger on trigger to prevent it falling out, also tighten lock nut to prevent losing
Now just to be sure there is is no paint in the needle tube we spray into the tube with the needle out and trigger held down
Before reassembling the airbrush we put a drop of miracle lube on the needle and rub it on  half way back on the needle
To clean between colors, spray out with  solvent or thinner thats right for your paints

Occasionally spray WD-40 into the back of airbrush to protect the inside
DON'T DO THIS STEP IF PAINTING WITH AUTOMOTIVE PAINTS
Again we spray into the syphon while pushing the trigger down for air.
This cleans out any paint in the tip
and front of the airbrush
