Neil Roth
One of the old men of airbrushing, having picked up his first airbrush in the late 50s. Right out of high school he worked for a small art studio doing adds and illustrations for several of Akron's rubber companies, mainly Firestone. For a short time, he worked for the local newspaper, since he didn't like working in a studio setting, Neil became a custom van painter during the van craze of the '60 & '70s. He has also done his share of airbrushed T-shirts, leather vests, jackets, and motorcycles. In the 80s he became an airbrush instructor for an art institute located in Cleveland, OH and as a consultant for a northern Ohio art and crafts wholesaler. He progressed to testing airbrush related items for both domestic and foreign companies. He also does classes for a chain of art and craft stores in Akron, Ohio. For the past 18 years his company, Get Painted, has obtained an international reputation for innovation in airbrush tattoo,face and body painting.
